  • After serving in Romania over two years Gerald and Ann Nichols have returned to the United States. The Nicholses and the McAnultys were among the first American missionaries to work in Romania. There have been about 360 baptisms over the past two years.
  • LaVega Parker and his wife, Nancy, desire to become long-term missionaries in Czechoslovakia. They need a sponsoring church, monthly support, mid travel funds.   • The church in Dindigtul, Tamil, Nadu, South India conducts a training program for preachers and teachers. The directors of the school are E.A. Arumugam and C. Aruidass; other teachers are J.W. Samson and Thomas Thangadurai. The elders of the Avondale church, 4017 Memorial Drive, Decatur, GA 30032 can give additional information.
  • The Avondale church in Decatur reports a good work in Kieve, Ukraine. The Center church began on September 1, 1992, in Kieve with 48 baptism. To date there have been 198 baptisms. The Kieve Bible Institute is currently teaching 18 men to preach the Word. Interestingly, the Center church withdrew fellowship from 12 after efforts failed over six months to get them to attend.
  • Charles Thigpen and T. J. Hughes announce the Viet Nam Mission Reunion during the World Missions Workshop, October 22, 1993, at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.
