Questions About Homosexuality

Homosexuality is raw and nasty. Homosexuals are degenerates. The utter corruption of this foul and evil behavior is stated in Paul's letter to saints at Rome. "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet" (Rom. 1:26-27). Paul uses the word "vile" to describe homosexuality. The apostle says same gender sex is a shame, reproach, disgrace. Homosexual conduct is rotten to the core. It has no redeeming feature. The unspeakably corrupt nature of homosexuality is splashed daily across television screens.

As many as 90% of homosexuals, according to a study by Brad Hayton, enjoy inflicting physical pain and receiving physical pain. This indicates a severe mental disorder. Homosexuals make up about 1.4% of the total population in America but commit over half of all child molestations. They are 12 times more likely to molest children than are heterosexuals. Homosexuals killed 68% of the victims of mass murders in the United States during the past 17 years. Homosexual sex is often violent sex. A third of the gays and lesbians admit that hurting or being hurt is a part of sexual "fun." Homosexuals are startlingly indiscriminate and careless. One sodomite in The Gay Report admitted having an incredible number of sexual adventures. He wrote: I believe my estimate of 4,000 sex partners to be very accurate. I have been actively gay since I was 13 (thirty-one years ago). An average of two or three new partners per week is not excessive, especially when one considers that I will have ten to twelve partners during one night at the baths.

Mr. Morin, gay activist and chairman of the American Psychological Association's ethics committee, reported that the 824 homosexuals he studied lowered their sex rate from 70 different partners per year in 1982 to 50 in 1984 (S. A. Stewart, USA Today, November 21, 1984). His purpose is to excuse homosexuality because, on average, they reduced their annual different sexual partners from 70 to 50.

Due to promiscuous homosexual practices male homosexuals are 14 times more apt to have syphilis than are heterosexuals, 3 times more apt to have gonorrhea, 3 times more apt to have genital warts, 9 times more apt to have scabies, 8 times more apt to have hepatitis, 3 times more apt to have lice, and over 5,000 times more apt to have AIDS.

According to a recent study of 5,246 obituaries in 16 homosexual newspapers, the average age of men dying from AIDS is 39. The average of homosexuals dying from all other causes is 41 (Paul Cameron, William I. Payfair, and Stephen Wellum, The Homosexual Lifestyle, Family Research Institute, Inc., Washington, D.C., 1992). Homosexuals are detestably filthy, repulsive, loathsome, and odious. They are morally bankrupt. Their behavior is sickening. They are wholly lacking in ethics. They are deranged and dopey.

In 1993 the governor of California rejected an amendment to the state constitution calling for homosexual "rights." This provoked a riot in San Francisco. People were hurt. Goods were stolen. Homosexuals were on a rampage. The governor relented. He signed the order giving police protection to degenerates. The great state of California then endorsed homosexual conduct. Perverts had their "rights." Almost immediately there was a public display of grossly immoral behavior on the streets of San Francisco. A "gay-pride" parade featured vulgar displays that are shameful to describe. It is difficult to think that humans are capable of depraved behavior that was publicly flouted with police protection, but it happened in California. If homosexual "rights" are legislated on a national basis, there will be no place safe from such flagrant crudeness in America.

Homosexual conduct is so unspeakably corrupt it cannot be described in polite company. The behavior of those who attempt sexual union with the same sex is rancid and vicious. The most pernicious of the sexually transmitted diseases are connected with homosexual behavior. There is no aberration more destructive and corrupt than homosexual conduct. Homosexuals are, by definition, perverts.

History shows that homosexual conduct is despicable. An early reference to this misbehavior is the account of the destruction of Sodom. Lot, the nephew of Abraham, lived in Sodom and had received into his home angel guests. The men of the city demanded that the visitors be brought out "that we may know them." Lot urged his fellow townsmen to "do not so wickedly." The men of Sodom hatefully turned on Lot, saying, "This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge" (Gen. 19:1-11). The perverts of Sodom complained that Lot was judging them. He decided their proposal was wicked. That was his assessment of their impure and wanton demand. Moses recorded the incident to justify God's fierce action in utterly destroying the city and its occupants, men, women and children.

We have a threefold judgment. The judgment of Lot. The judgment of Moses. The judgment of God. The indecent proposal of the depraved men of Sodom and the act of God in burning up the city and its people stands in the annals of mankind as a rebuke of homosexuality. A more severe statement could not have been made. The thunderous voice of the Almighty pronounced the surpassing sinfulness of homosexual conduct. The name of the city still lives in the English language as descriptive of one of the most contemptible sins of which man is capable. Lot condemned the men of Sodom and, in a sniveling display of unaccountable ignorance, they judged him for judging them. The standard response by deviants to any condemnation of their psychopathic perversion is to protest judging. The sacred record declares that God judges and condemns homosexuality. The sodomite complaint against judging is an indictment and condemnation of God. At Sodom the Creator "with a great voice out of the temple" and with "lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and a great earthquake" judged Sodomy as an intolerable blight upon society.

The Holy Spirit told Paul to describe homosexuality as unseemly, or shameful. The only other time this word is used in the New Testament describes men "walking naked" and others seeing their "shame." Paul, in the book of Romans, and Moses, in the book of Genesis, uncompromisingly judged and condemned homosexuals. We stand in good stead when we identify homosexuality as unacceptably corrupt. In every society from Sodom, to Egypt, to Greece, to Rome where homosexual conduct has prevailed the community has been destroyed.

Paul says they received "in themselves that recompense of their error which was due." Sin is the punishment for sin. Excess begets excess. When people lay aside moral restraint and begin to practice abnormal things, they are destined to become worse and worse. Abominable unnatural lusts, by operation of cause and effect, are progressively crooked and will inevitably become insupportable. Paul speaks not just of the heat that introduces unchastity but that which is ignited in the act.

Philip Doddridge commented, "And likewise their males, leaving the natural use of the female, have been inflamed with the most scandalous and abominable desires towards each other, males with males perpetrating that which is most shameful to mention, and detestable to think of, and receiving in themselves the just recompense of their error, in that stupidity and degeneracy of mind to which they were evidently left" (The Family Expositor: or, a paraphrase and version of the New Testament with critical notes, by Philip Doddridge, Volume 4, page 20).

It is an observable fact that sin demands repetition and increasing intensity. A teaspoon of narcotic today demands a tablespoon next week. There is no limit. The dosage must be increased until the human system can no longer tolerate it and the body dies. That is the story of sin. Paul put is this way: "The wages of sin is death" (Rom. 6:23). An inflamed man, burning in his desire for other men, will increase his corruption until he kills himself. It is a corroborating statistic that the average age for mortality for homosexuals is 41 (for homosexuals with AIDS, it is 39). The difference is two years. Homosexual conduct is fatal.

Sin enslaves its practitioners. "Know ye not, that to whom ye present yourselves as servants unto obedience, his servants ye are whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" (Rom. 6:16). The word translated servants is rendered in the footnote as bondservants, or slaves. Sin is a cruel tyrant, as any homosexual will testify.

Modern psychology would have us believe that homosexuals are born in that condition and cannot help themselves. They come into the world, we are told, with a predisposition to effeminate inclinations and are helpless in the clutches of this evil. _his produces some serious problems. If it is acceptable for homosexuals to engage in their abnormal behavior because they are born with the malady, then it would follow that any other perversion can be justified on the grounds of genetic origin. The rapist cannot help himself because his genes dictate his behavior. The murderer cannot be condemned because he was born with a genetic structure that required him to kill and cripple. The sadist cannot be censured because his ancestry imposes upon him the need to hurt others. The mass-murderer is innocent because his genes kicked in and the blameless suffered. There is no wrong. Everything is right. _he current kick in psycho-analysis is to exonerate everybody. Nothing is wrong! Everything is okay! When you do something bad, blame it on your great-great grandpa, or maybe his grandpa. It's in your genes and you are without guilt. The onus is not on-us.

Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the serpent. But neither Adam nor Eve could blame their genetic structure. They had no choice, in the final analysis, but to own their guilt. The homosexual quibble that they can't help it -- they were born that way -- seems to admit that there is something wrong about being "that way." If homosexuality is morally smooth, then why all the fuss and bother about trying to avoid responsibility? If there is nothing wrong with sexual perversion, stop trying to justify it. Just say its like being black or having curly hair and stop trying to rationalize it.

Paul says it is against nature. Some, he says, "leave the natural use of the woman" and burn "in their lust one toward another, men with men, working unseemliness." If these men leave the natural to do something else, then the something else is unnatural. Some women, Paul says, "change the natural use into that which is against nature." If it is against nature, then it is not natural. It is abnormal.

Either the Bible is true in its declarations about the deviant character of homosexuality, or it is incorrect, and therefore errant, and not of God. If it is true, then homosexuals need to come to grips with their perversion and correct it. Still, it is the strong opinion of some apologists for homosexuals that the condition comes from mutations and those who suffer from it are victims. There is no proof for the claim. Suppose it could be proven. Would that modify the sinful nature of the act? If it is wrong, it is wrong, and mutated genes do not make it right. We observe in society some aberrations. Those unfortunate souls that suffer from an irregularity are taught to cope with and contain it. A weak brain cell does not give freedom to lurch about over society and hurt other people. There must be restraints. The abnormal must not be allowed to damage the normal. For the good of mankind we must have rules. If the rules are violated, corrective action must be taken. If homosexual conduct is caused by distorted genes, then society has the duty to protect itself. Dangerous malfunctions need to be corralled. It is doubtful if sodomites would be willing to accept the consequence of their deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) argument. They may not really want to be classified as a monstrosity, though they are peculiar and strange -- even queer.

A significant number of people are claiming to be cured of homosexual behavior. Many special clinics work exclusively at the job of reforming homosexuals and proclaim a high incidence of recovery. These experts work on the mind and endeavor to convince the sodomite that his conduct is unacceptable and hazardous to him and to society. If a person can be talked out of homosexual conduct, then the perversion is something that is learned and can be unlearned. You cannot reason a person out of being black or Hispanic and there are no clinics for that purpose. You can teach a person the evil of homosexuality and motivate reform. This is a strong indication that the my-genes-made-me-do-it theory is false.

Still, a few misguided souls are saying that homosexuals can no more control their outrageous conduct than a leopard can change his spots or an Ethiopian his skin. God condemns homosexual conduct (Rom. 1:26-27). It would be evil for God to condemn someone for doing what he or she cannot avoid. God is not evil. Therefore, sodomy and lesbianism can be controlled.

It is, of course, possible for a person to develop a habit so deeply ingrained it is unlikely to be broken. Yet, the person was not born that way. He developed his condition and has only himself to blame. A person can become so addicted to illegal narcotics that the probability of getting free from the foul obsession is remote. The treachery of wrong habits is a good reason never to start on a course that is damaging or sinful. The New Testament says of some who "were once enlightened" and then "fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame" (Heb 6:4,6). A sodomite may be so devoted to his/her vice so as to be past the point of no return, but the blame belongs to the culprit.

Homosexuals can change, if they really want to change. Paul says some were previously "effeminate" and "abusers of themselves with men," but he says, "ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Cor. 6:9,11). They changed. They were no longer effeminate and abusers of themselves with men. They understood that "they who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God" and made a conscious decision to change. They repented! They brought forth fruit worthy of repentance. They stopped doing wrong things and committed themselves to right behavior. Homosexuals can change. Sodomites and lesbians are missionary. They work hard at attempting to recruit the unsuspecting into their immoral swamp. They can have no children of their own and want your children. They know that if they start early enough, they can pervert the morals of the young. In every gay pride parade and in every homosexual convention and meeting an organized group of homosexuals calling themselves The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) is represented. Homosexuals generally find no fault with this ungodly group. NAMBLA vigorously advocates changing the law to allow adults to have sex with children. NAMBLA is a member of the International Lesbian and Gay Association, which has called on its members "to treat all sexual minorities with respect," including the pedophile.

In an attempt to be tolerant, other organizations embrace homosexual groups and, to show just how open-minded they are, they allow the sodomites and lesbians to attempt to convert children to an acceptance of homosexuality. The San Francisco Bay Area Network of Gay and Lesbian Educators distributed, through the National Education Association, recommendations for addressing the concerns of male and female homosexuals. Some of the recommendations were: Encouragement of teacher utilization of gay and lesbian people, or parents of gays and lesbians as speakers in classes as part of their material on the diversity of sexual orientation; be supportive of the presence of openly lesbian, gay, and bisexuals at all levels; do not make any assumptions regarding the sexual orientation of students, clients, parents, or colleagues; use non-gender specific language whenever possible (e.g. partner, lover, person); inclusion of information, discussion, and recognition of gay and lesbian issues (heterosexism, homophobia, homosexuality) into curriculum, lesson plans/syllabus, and course work in various disciplines at various grade levels; include readings which address lesbian and gay issues on required and recommended reading lists; with your students, discover and plan ways to participate in local and national gay pride month/week activities in a way to celebrate, learn about, and better understand lesbian, gay and bisexual culture; familiarize yourself with local gay and lesbian resources (social/political organizations, health care agencies, counseling services, clubs, youth groups, readings, and file materials) and use them in your class; requirement of comprehensive human relations/sex education instruction within the health curriculum framework, which include information of the diversity of sexual orientation.

On July 5-8, 1992, the National Education Association held its annual convention and adopted dozens of radical resolutions, including visiting "homosexuals teaching in the classroom, even if they have AIDS, and counseling of students by homosexuals." There is no doubt that homosexuals through their various organizations, aided and abetted by the National Education Association and the public press, are undermining the morals of the youth of the nation. Your children are at risk. When a wide-eyed homosexual spreads his hands and pleads that he just wants to be left alone to live like other people, don't believe it. He has a hidden agenda. A breathtaking majority of sodomites and lesbians are dedicated to perverting as many people as possible. Their target is the young.

When Josiah instituted his reform in Jerusalem, under the probable influence of Jeremiah, he not only banned idolatry and its abominations, but he also "brake down the house of the sodomites, that were in the house of the Lord, where the women wove hangings for the grove" (2 Kings 23:7). Prostitution was one of the contemptible practices of heathenism. It was often incorporated into worship of idols. The Jews succumbed to this repulsive practice and allowed male and female prostitutes in the house of the Lord. Sodomites and harlots worked side by side in the temple of God. Priests and people were not offended, but participated in this wickedness. Josiah put an end to the activity. He tore down their houses and removed the curtains that concealed the moral decay.

May America learn the lesson. Sodomites need to be driven out. The disgusting thing ought not to be tolerated. The land of liberty is on the verge of being dishonored and destroyed by decadence. This corruption will either be destroyed or it will destroy. We do not recommend violent vigilante action. The way to expel and spew out of our land any moral evil is to teach against and condemn it. If the horrible consequence of sodomy and lesbianism is spread before the public, surely the people will revolt. Our task is to teach against it and pronounce the judgments of God upon it. When we calmly show the essential evil of this evil, we are not behaving irrationally, but responsibly.

The charge of homophobia does not stick. To expose the rotten fruit of the homosexual tree is not an irrational fear of homosexuality. We are not "homophobes." May God grant that Christian soldiers will never be intimidated by insults and false charges, but will rather press on in pursuit of truth and righteous and in opposition to the wiles and corruption of Satan. Besides, opposing the prosecutor of crime comforts the criminal. If we allow our mouths to be stopped by curt and unfair epithets, we surrender to the Red Dragon. Every person who has suffered the outcome of homosexual perversion ought to be dynamic in opposing this satanic work. Every tearful eye that has looked upon the ravaged remains of a poor deluded, shriveled body that has expired in pain-racked misery and is without hope because of homosexuality, ought to hate this evil. Opposing the prosecutor of the crime comforts criminal.

Josiah-like, may we have the good sense and moral courage to rise in righteous indignation and deny the transgressor the right of trespass. Sodomites and lesbians must be seriously opposed. If we fail in this, we may bring the fire and brimstone of divine disapproval down upon our fair land.
