Frequently Asked Question

Question:
Leviticus 18:29 says that anyone who does these detestible things should be cut off from the people. Does this still hold true today if someone does any of the previous mentioned acts in Leviticus? Why or Why not?

Answer:
A reading of Hebrews chapters eight and nine will show that we are not amenable to the law of Moses, but to the law of Christ (See also Eph. 2:11-22). However, the moral law of God is perpetual. Laws governing morals do not change. It is sinful to be a transvestite (See 1 Cor. 6:9 and notice especially the word translated "effeminate," which has to do with cross-dressing, among other things -- also, it is against the civil law in most states.
