Frequently Asked Question

Question:
1. Without a massive discussion, can you tell me what doctrinal position you are coming from ?

2. With reguard to "Testing the Spirits " in 1 John 4:2, how are we to do that ?

Answer:
Our doctrinal position is the Bible and the Bible only. Peter said, "If any man speak, speaking as it were the oracles of God." That is what we do. The "spirits" of 1 John 4:2 are human false teachers. They are tested by the standard of God's word. To hear the words of Christ and his apostles is to be of the truth, and to refuse those words is to be of the evil one. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of evil (See 1 John 4:6).
